Fun Fruit Kabobs with yogurt Dip
Here is a fresh summer healthy treat and snack idea to serve as an entrée, for
desserts, cocktails parties, picnics and BBQ's. Your guests and family are sure to love
these delicious treats.
Wooden skewers
2-1/2 cups cubed cantaloupe
2-1/2 cups cubed honeydew melon
2-1/2 fresh strawberries and raspberries
1 cups seedless grapes and blueberries
2 cups pineapple cubes
assorted cheese cubes (optional)
Yogurt Dip
• 2 cups plain or flavour of choice low-fat Greek yogurt
• 1/4 cup honey
• Zest and juice from 1 lime and grapefruit
In a bowl mix the ingredients together, zest and juice until well blended. Refrigerate 1
hour until well chilled.
Assemble the fruit kabobs, thread fruits onto 12 wooden skewers as many as needed,
alternating the fruits. Place in airtight container, refrigerate until ready to serve.
SERVE and display the fun fruit kabobs on platters with the dipping sauce in bowls. For a
creative presentation insert the kabob sticks into a watermelon. Fun, festive & colourful...
its that simple. This is fun to make with children.
