Sometimes simple and easy ideas are all that is needed to
transform everyday place settings. into sensational seasonal
outdoor dinning decorLet a few added touches of nature make
your outdoor entertaining decor truly rock! Text, words, sayings,
quotes are everywhere and on everything these days. Why not
creatively incorporate them into your outdoor dinning decor.
Motivational words, such as happiness, joy, love, or enjoy are
inscribed onto rocks using multi-purpose paints.

The decorated rocks also keep the napkins and tablecloth from
blowing away on windy days. Day lillies make fabulous place
setting decorations.

How-to prepare and BBQ veggie pockets
A super summer salad to make for
outdoor gatherings, Picnic's, BBQ's,
at the cottage...and especially for
beach parties.

You easily double and triple the quantities
as needed.
Sweet Curry Summer dressing! Make the
dressing a head of time. Prepapre all the
remaining ingredients and bring everyhting to
the beach or picnic and make the rest on
location. I made this at the beach, it was so
much fun!
Add all dressing ingredients in
a jar or container.
Add spices, cover and shake it all up!
Cook the rice.
-Chop Spanish red onions
-Chop water chestnuts
-Chop fresh herbs, basil, chives and parcel
-Chop a red pepper
-Chop apple pieces....Last minute addition, a left
over apple from lunch, perfect improvised
ingredient to add, cant let anything go to waste!
(fruits and nuts are always a great addition to any
salad)
and then add all chopped items into the rice bowl.

*While your chopping and preparing the salad
ingredients, roast the red pepper on a BBQ for
15-20 minutes
Ingredients:

Dressing:
1/2 cup of olive oil
1 1/2 tsp of curry paste
1/2 cup of brown sugar
2 tablespoons of white vinegar
1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons of soya sauce
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp sesame seeds
Spices to your liking, sea salt,
pepper,

Salad ingredients:
3 cups of cooked rice
1/2 cup of chopped onions
1/2 cup of water chestnuts
fresh herbs, parsley, basil leaves
and chives
1 roasted red pepper
optional 1/2 cup of chopped
apples
Combine all the chopped
ingredients with the rice.
Pour the sweet curry
dressing over the rice
mixture, mix and serve with
your favorite summer side
dishes...Delicious with
anything and even just on its
own...they will be asking for
seconds!!!!!!
